Be sure to shop safely and keep updated on the latest recalls in toys and kid’s items. It’s a good habit to get into to regularly check out the CDC’s website on toy recalls (here is the link).
There are many hazards to keep your eyes peeled for, from pacifier choking hazards to lead paint that is still being found in toys. It seems even the season’s biggest hits are effected.
It’s all a lot to take in, and it may seem too hard to give the list a good look, but for safety’s sake it’s more than worth it. We all want the best for our children and to keep them protected, and truthfully it’s getting ridiculous how many recalls there are going around still.
Most major brands also have their own individual recall lists, with information on them all. If you find out that you do have something that is in the process of being recalled, either follow any instructions on the website or contact the brand or store you purchased the item from.
